If you go to Google and enter a specific search query, for example, “car selection”, the search engine will determine the region by IP address and show the results for that region. If the advertiser scrolls to the bottom of the search results page, he will see an inscription for which region the results are shown.

How to view your ads and those of competitors in a different region
Google Ads has a dedicated Ad Preview and Diagnostics tool located in the Tools tab under the Planning section. You can go here, type in the desired search query and select a location, for example, Novosibirsk. There you can also select the language, devices and audience. After that, you can see the issue for Novosibirsk on mobile devices or computers.
There is a nuance here. The tool can show the SERP as if there are no ads at all in the top and bottom blocks. In fact, everything may not be so.
Overall, this tool is very useful, you can use it to see how your advertisements will look like.
There is another tool that allows you to view the search results directly in Google itself: iksweb.ru/tools/uule. This is a generator of correct region settings for Google.
You need to insert here the search queries for which you want to see the results (you can download it directly as a file), indicate the region for which you need the results, click the “Check” button.
The service will generate an issue, all you have to do is select the required request and click “Open”.
